New Senior Appointment Continues Growth at Hirepool
Auckland, 21 January 2013 - Hirepool Limited has made a new key appointment as it continues to strengthen its position as the country’s premier rental equipment solutions provider.
Phill Gower has joined the management team at Hirepool as Area One Manager where he will be responsible for 17 Hirepool equipment, Henderson vehicle rentals, Port-A-Loo and Marquee & Party Hire branches covering Auckland and Northland.
Previously Auckland Area Manager Transpacific Waste Management where he was responsible for a business with annual revenue of $90million and a staff of more than 250, Phill says “the opportunity to join such a progressive business where I can grow my skills and experience made it a very easy decision. It will be a challenge taking on a new industry, but it is a challenge that really excites me.
Hirepool has been operating without an Area One Manager for several months and Chief Executive Mark Powell says they are delighted to find someone with the “right skill set and enthusiasm at a time when the Auckland commercial market is showing signs of recovery.
“Phill brings more than 15 years of experience in transport, waste, logistics including retail and wholesale customers, and a proven record for building and managing large teams, business improvement and innovation. I have no doubt he will be a perfect fit for our business.”
Hirepool currently has network of around 50 general equipment, vehicle plus marquee & party hire branches across New Zealand.
