Manurewa Couple Win New Jeep for Christmas
Buying a $100 Westfield Gift Card for their son’s birthday has resulted in new wheels for a Manurewa couple this
Christmas.
Today Jan and Tony Horan, winners of the Westfield and JEEP co-promotion, have been handed the keys to a shiny new Jeep
Compass Sport 2.0L 4x2 valued at $32,990.
All customers who purchased a Westfield Gift Card for $50 or more in November could enter the draw by registering to win
on the Westfield website.
Jan, a reading teacher at the local High School who is a regular shopper at Westfield Manukau City, is now driving away
in a shiny blue Jeep after purchasing the gift card for their son’s birthday.
“I can’t believe that buying a gift card for a present has resulted in us driving away in a brand new Jeep.” What a
wonderful Christmas present.
When we rang Jan to announce her win we were met with stunned silence, says Margot Lewis, Westfield Gift Card Programme
Manager. “It took a few moments for her to realise our call was legitimate.”
Jan called her husband straight away with the good news which also happened to fall on the same day as his birthday
making for a double celebration.
