Information Leadership attains
Microsoft Gold Partner status
New Zealand-owned information and knowledge management company Information Leadership has gained Microsoft Gold Partnership status in the content and collaboration competency, reflecting its best-in-class expertise. Only 1 percent[1] of Microsoft Partners worldwide have attained this degree of proficiency, based on a rigorous certification process.
“We’re thrilled by this recognition of our commitment to excellence and the passion we have for delivering customised, pragmatic, and effective information management solutions that add real value to our clients’ businesses,” says Information Leadership Director, Sarah Heal.
Content management and collaboration services are critical to businesses that depend on data/information and want to maximise efficiencies and productivity, as well as meet their individual compliance and audit requirements. A Microsoft Gold Partner in the content and collaboration competency provides best-in-class business value consulting, change management, architectural design, digital asset management, and web design and development.
Information Leadership is one of only five providers in New Zealand that has been awarded Gold Partnership status in the content and collaboration competency, alongside multinational IT providers servicing the New Zealand market.
Using the SharePoint platform, Information Leadership has developed its own iWorkPlace product, which incorporates the company’s methodology and products for extending SharePoint to fit the New Zealand environment and specific customers’ needs. This includes Public Records Act (PRA) compliance as well as productivity enhancements to improve the management of large quantities of information.
Being awarded Microsoft Gold Partnership status comes at a time when Information Leadership is expanding its business to meet growing demand. Established just eight years ago, headquartered in Christchurch, the company will have 20 staff nationwide by January 2013, with its Wellington office expanding from seven to ten.
“We believe the growth we’re experiencing reflects a growing awareness of our unique approach, which involves working closely with our clients to develop solutions that are highly tailored to their specific business needs,” says Ms. Heal.
The Gold Partnership status is the
latest of Information Leadership’s achievements. With over
50 iWorkPlace implementations under its belt, Information
Leadership is one of only two New Zealand organisations to
achieve Microsoft SharePoint Elite Certification. The
company’s most recent SharePoint implementation at the New
Zealand Walking Access Commission, a Crown Entity, also
created a New Zealand first with the only locally-hosted
cloud solution to support PRA compliance.
