Gareth Morgan KiwiSaver Scheme wins again
The Gareth Morgan KiwiSaver Scheme (GMK) remains the People’s Choice scheme. For the second successive year it won this
accolade in the annual Workplace Savings NZ Communication Awards.
Steve Wiggins, General Manager Marketing, Sales and Customer Service, said that being the first back-to-back winner of
this award is recognition of the huge effort the GMK team puts into its communications and customer service.
“We are proud of the way we communicate and respond to our members and we’re thrilled for this to be publicly
recognised,” said Steve. “But what makes this award even more satisfying is that it is voted for by scheme members
themselves.”
Steve said the award also acknowledges the constant effort of many people throughout the business to ensure a high level
of transparency, accuracy and communication is maintained.
GMK’s 65plus campaign, aimed at scheme members eligible to withdraw from KiwiSaver, was also a finalist in the Best
Other Communication award.
The 2012 Workplace Savings NZ Communications Awards ceremony was held in Auckland on Thursday 6 December.
For the People’s Choice KiwiSaver Award, KiwiSaver members were asked to rate their scheme provider’s communications on
a scale from 'Excellent' to 'Very Poor'.
