Deloitte has announced the appointment of Steve Law as a consulting partner in the firm’s Christchurch office, effective from 1 December.
Mr Law has 18 years’ experience in the consulting industry and has undertaken assignments for a wide variety of clients in New Zealand, Australia, Europe and the United Kingdom.

“The complexity of today’s business environment, combined with the accelerated pace of technology change, puts incredible pressure on organisations to constantly innovate in order to improve business performance,” Mr Law says.
One of his key objectives is to help clients manage through this complexity and deliver to scope, on time and within budget.
His appointment serves to strengthen Deloitte’s service offering in areas such as programme governance and direction, business process review and improvement, IT strategy, information systems selection, procurement, implementation and change management.
Deloitte’s Christchurch managing partner Brett Chambers says that Mr Law will lead Deloitte’s South Island Consulting practice in Christchurch recognising the importance of Christchurch as a key contributor to New Zealand’s growth over the next few years.
“We are very pleased to have Steve stepping up to this new role. He has proven ability to help some of our largest clients achieve their business goals and his technical expertise and leadership skill will be a great asset to both the Deloitte team and our clients,” Mr Chambers says.
Mr Law is equally enthusiastic about this new opportunity.
“I’m thrilled to be joining the Deloitte partnership. We have a lot of talented people within our organisation and I’m looking forward to harnessing that talent to help our clients succeed,” he says.
