CallPlus first to offer UFB to businesses in Tokoroa
CallPlus has announced it will be the first to offer Ultra-Fast Broadband (UFB) bundles to businesses in Tokoroa. The
offers include unlimited high speed broadband plus a range of features, so businesses can expect enhanced productivity
with faster internet.
“UFB is a game changer for New Zealand businesses and we are committed to providing affordable ultra-fast broadband
across the country. It is exciting to be the first in a region and get companies connected,” says Kelvin Hussey, General
Manager of CallPlus.
“With CallPlus, there’s no need to worry about limiting usage. Businesses will have unlimited internet, so they can
utilise all the benefits of UFB without unplanned and escalating costs.”
CallPlus currently serves thousands of New Zealand businesses, and has designed UFB bundles that cater to the needs of
kiwi business operators, offering low set monthly prices for price certainty and the ability for businesses to choose
their own add-ons.
David Hall, Chief Executive of South Waikato District Council says there are some really exciting prospects for local
businesses to connect to UFB. “We have some great things to see and do in the area, a significant number of local
businesses and rural traders who will benefit greatly from the increased access to information and the ability to
communicate faster and further afield,” says Hall.
For just $130 a month business customers will receive unlimited internet of up to 30 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload –
with no data cap. Also included in the business bundles are online backup to disaster proof business data, a web domain
name and web hosting. Two analogue lines will also be included, as are attractive calling packs, so companies can cancel
pricey monthly business lines and save more on calling. CallPlus is also providing free hardware to reduce capital
outlay.
“Our aim is to speed up kiwi business so we are always coming up with innovative ways to make it a reality for our
customers. Even our entry level UFB bundle could give businesses up to 10 times the upload speed than previously
experienced on a standard broadband connection, at a really competitive price,” says Hussey.
On top of this, businesses will be able to take advantage of a free two hour IT consultancy service, to help ensure they
are getting the most out of their fibre connection.
Customers can choose to go even faster by selecting bundles that offer up to 100 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload ($230
per month) or up to 100 Mbps download and 100 Mbps upload ($480 per month). Extra voice lines can be added at a low
fixed monthly price, while calling packs allow for monthly cost control.
“We believe that New Zealand businesses should not be held back by their internet provider. That is why we are offering
unlimited data, so that our customers can take full advantage of ultra-fast broadband. We are confident that our
business bundles provide outstanding value and invite businesses to put our offer to the test via our online
calculator.*
CallPlus can also provide UFB services to businesses in parts of Auckland, Christchurch, Cambridge, Dunedin, Hamilton,
Hawera, Invercargill, Masteron, Napier, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Pukekohe, Rotorua, Taupo, Tauranga, Te Awamutu,
Whanganui, Wellington and Whangarei.
“We are really excited that we can reach over 25,000 businesses that have been already been made fibre ready,” concludes
Hussey.
