NZICA key appointment new GM - Tax
The New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountant (NZICA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Vial ACA to
the role of General Manager – Tax, beginning 1 February 2013.
Peter comes to NZICA from his current role as Associate Professor in the Commercial Law Department at Auckland
University. Prior to that he gained extensive tax experience with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
“Peter brings a strong technical tax skill set and a leadership style that will further progress the excellent work our
Tax team have done in recent years,” says NZICA Chief Operating Officer Kirsten Patterson.
“The NZICA Tax team has an excellent reputation and I know that Peter will strengthen our key stakeholder relationships
and continue the strong tax advocacy our members expect for themselves and their clients.”
