Wins Best Tea-Based Beverage and Supreme Champion Award

The New Zealand Juice and Beverage Association held its highly regarded Awards on Friday 2 November, and one drink range made a real splash.

Ti Tonics super teas, founded by Kiwi entrepreneur Dr Tracey King, won Best Tea-Based Beverage for their Nectarine flavour. They went on to take out the Supreme Champion Award for small producers, surpassing big-name entrants in a dozen categories.

The judges praised Ti Tonics Nectarine as “very refreshing and not too sweet”.

Dr King is thrilled by the recognition for her innovative brand, which she describes as “definitely not your ordinary kind of drink.”

Ti Tonics are an advanced blend of premium white tea, grape seed extract and subtle fruit flavours. They’re rich in polyphenols, nature’s most powerful antioxidants, and contain less than half a teaspoon of sugar in each bottle. There are absolutely no artificial flavours, sweeteners or preservatives.

Naturally, they also taste delicious, and come in a range of fruit-infused flavours.

The award-winning Ti Tonics range is available from Countdown supermarkets nationwide, selected New Worlds and all Nosh Gourmet Food Stores.
