Kinetics Group Boosts National Offering with Key Appointment

Kinetics Group has appointed David Barron to the role of General Manager - South at Kinetics Group. David will be responsible for the management and development of the Kinetics business in the South Island.

Established in 1996, Kinetics provides New Zealand businesses with a complete IT services and enables them to get the most from their IT systems.

David brings with him extensive experience having worked in the technology sector for over 20 years. Initially starting his career as an IT consultant, he has worked his way up to General Manager positions for The Laptop Company and CommArc Consulting Limited. David has considerable experience in strategic direction and planning as well as the design and implementation of networks.

Under his management, CommArc doubled its turnover and staff headcount in an environment in which many other technology companies struggled. In 2003 he was voted the New Zealand Institute of Management’s (NZIM) South Island Young Entrepreneur of the Year.

The addition of this key role in Christchurch is a strategic move that will enable Kinetics to deliver complete IT services, to South Island businesses from computer system design and maintenance to bespoke coaching for end users.
