New Telecom Mobile Plans a Bonus for Business
Telecom announced yesterday that its new mobile phone plans include a bonus for business customers with free “team calling” – that is free calls between employees on the same account - on all $39 and above Smartphone plans (fair use policy applies).
Telecom Head of Business Marketing Lynne Le Gros said that the plans were developed from customer feedback on what was most important to them when it came to a mobile phone plan.
“Customers told us again and again that being able to call their team members for free would make the biggest difference to them – so that is what we’re delivering in these new plans.
“We recognise that mobility is increasingly important for our business customers, with team members relying on their mobiles to communicate because they are so frequently out and about, working from another office, or working from home.
“There is also a focus on simplicity. We’re offering one set of mobile plans across both the business and consumer segments, with add-on bonuses for business that will be applied automatically to their accounts.
“We’ve also taken into account the importance that many employees now place on owning the latest smartphone – even if that means buying it themselves. The new plans recognise this growing trend – and the need for strong cashflow – with our ‘sim only’ offer. Where a customer decides to bring their own smartphone for use at work, they will receive a credit against their business account.”
Customers can find out more information on the features and benefits in Telecom’s new range of business mobile plans at www.telecombusinesshub.co.nz or by calling 126.
