Electricity and Gas Complaints Commissioner best workplace finalist
The office of the Electricity and Gas Complaints Commissioner (EGCC) is a finalist in the Kenexa Best Workplaces Survey for 2012. The EGCC won the best small workplace category last year, and Commissioner Judi Jones is pleased to be amongst the finalists again this year.
“We’ve been using the survey for eight years as a marker for the health of our workplace, and it is only the past two years that we’ve been big enough to compete,” Ms Jones said.
“The office has grown since we won the category last year, and having public recognition of the culture we have established within the office has helped with recruitment of more great staff,” Ms Jones said.
Kenexa (previously JRA) surveys the employees of participating businesses and names finalists in four categories based on the size of the organisations. The EGCC is one of ten finalists in the small workplace category (20 to 49 employees). The full list of finalists is available here.
The winners will be announced at a dinner in Auckland on Thursday 1 November.
