Hallenstein Brothers announces hosts for exclusive summer season launch
Three Playmates to jet into Auckland to host event
Hallenstein Brothers is experiencing a dramatic surge in demand for suits as Kiwi guys rediscover the power of dressing well.
To celebrate, the company is launching its summer range with an exclusive cocktail party inspired by the golden era of the suit: the 1960’s.
Glenn Hunter, General Manager, Hallenstein Brothers says “The most talked about parties of that era were attended by glamorous Playmates. So we’re delighted to announce that three of today’s most beautiful Playmates will be flying in from America to host our event this November”.
Hallenstein Brothers confirmed today that Tiffany Toth, Miss September 2011, Jessa Hinton, Miss July 2011 and Heather Knox, Miss January 2012 will be the hosts of an exclusive event on November 13, 2012.
News of the pending arrival of the Playmates sent the social media and media outlets alight last week.
“The response was fantastic,” said Hunter. “We knew that the conversation with our customers was going to be huge, but we’re delighted that the reaction has exceeded our expectations.”
While in New Zealand the Playmates will launch Hallenstein Brothers summer campaign. The aim of the campaign is to highlight how far New Zealand men have come, lifting the stakes in their dress sense and style.
During their visit the Playmates will attend a series of media engagements. The highlight of the week will be the exclusive cocktail party which will be attended by just 150 specially invited guests.
Hunter says “A select group of our customers will be invited to join us at the event. We’ll be announcing more details soon.”
Hallenstein Brothers have enjoyed a significant lift in suit sales in the last eight months. In a survey conducted earlier this year, the clothing manufacturer discovered that 67% of New Zealand women believe that a guy in a suit indicates he knows how to dress well.

About the Playmates
Tiffany Toth, Miss September 2011
Tiffany Toth, was Playmate of the Month for September 2011.
“It’s how I grew up,” says the 25-year-old blonde bombshell of her passion for sand and surf. “I always went to the beach with friends. I still look forward to those summer nights when the sun goes down and you start a bonfire, have a drink.”
Born and raised in Orange County, Tiffany is a California girl through and through.
When she’s not soaking up the sun or cheering for the Anaheim Angels, she’s a self-employed makeup artist and a part-time model.
And, after posing as a Cyber Girl, she was determined to grace the pages of the magazine as a Playmate. “Ever since I can remember, I’ve had this fascination with the magazine. I collected the magazine and idolized the Playmates. I would even imitate their hair and makeup!”
Now, this sun-kissed beauty has finally accomplished her ultimate goal by becoming Miss September 2011.
“Everything [in the pictorial] is exactly how I imagined it. In real life I hate high heels, in my pictorial I’m barefoot on the beach! It’s totally me, and I couldn’t be happier about it.”
Heather Knox, Miss January 2012
Heather Knox, was January 2012 Playmate of the Month.
Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, the 26-year-old blonde beauty was front and center for the 2012 Super Bowl action. “Getting to watch the game from a suite at Lucas Oil Stadium was the coolest thing ever … I keep forgetting how many opportunities being Miss January brings to me.”
The die-hard Colts fan became an expert at the game while working as a waitress at a sports bar. “By understanding what was happening, I knew when not to interrupt a table of guys,” Heather says. She perfected her skills and even her fantasy football league was undefeated until recently. “My league is called Show Me Your TDs - say it fast and you’ll realise a guy came up with the name.”
While this great catch loves football, she also enjoys doing make-up artistry and drawing, and has always wanted to be a Playmate.
“Ever since I was old enough to know what the magazine was, I knew I wanted to grow up and one day be privileged enough to be a part of the legacy.” Heather knew the only way that would come about was if she tried, so last fall she attended a casting call in Columbus, OH and the rest is history.
“Without a doubt, 2012 will be the most amazing year of my life,” she exclaims.
Jessa Hinton, Miss July 2011
Jessa Hinton was July 2011 Playmate of the month.
“I want to use this opportunity to do it all,” the 27-year-old blonde beauty says about becoming a Playmate. In five years, Miss July sees herself owning a clothing line, hosting a major television program and publishing her own autobiography.
Jessa already has an impressive resume. She interviews the likes of Manny Pacquiano and Shane Mosley for “Top Rank Boxing,” along with poker players and celebrities for “Victory Poker.” On top of that, Jessa keeps herself busy by designing her own bikini line for Affliction, appearing on billboards and ads for The Palms Casino Resort’s Ditch Fridays, and modeling for Monster Energy drink and Mixed Martial Arts.
“I am a jack of all trades and an energizer bunny. I love being busy,” exclaims Miss July.
The California native’s strong work ethic comes from her busy teen years, when she juggled school, acting and modeling and helped raise her six younger siblings. “It was hard, but it taught me to believe that anything is possible,” says Jessa.
