New Zealand Cricket Re-Signs with Canterbury for Another Three Years
New Zealand Cricket has re-signed with Canterbury of New Zealand to provide all its elite team apparel and training gear for another three years.
Canterbury will continue to provide uniforms and training apparel for the BLACKCAPS for all three international forms of the game, including Test, One Day and Twenty20, plus all six major provincial associations.
A contemporary collection of
supporter apparel will also be on the shelves in time for
the summer season and upcoming fixtures against Sri Lanka,
England and South Africa.
CEO of New Zealand Cricket,
David White said that he was delighted to be able announce
Canterbury’s continued involvement.
“Canterbury of New Zealand brings valuable design and technology to our team apparel that performs exceptionally well in the field, as well as supporting training and recovery,” said White.
“It is also great to partner with a New Zealand brand with so much Kiwi heritage, but that is also plugged in to the latest thinking in sports apparel through its global business operations,” he said.
Canterbury’s New Zealand CEO Ross Munro is likewise pleased to re-sign.
“We’ve had five great years with New Zealand Cricket and have been delighted to be able to do our best to support our top teams on and off the pitch.”
“This new uniform sees subtle improvements in technology that will improve player comfort, and also a great new design that we think will be very popular with players and fans alike,” he said.
The first outing of the uniform will be for the
South African tour in
December/January.
