Quest reconfirms its commitment to the project management sector of New Zealand

Quest has reconfirmed its ongoing commitment to the local project management sector by continuing to be a national sponsor of, and exclusive accommodation provider for, the Project Managment Institute of New Zealand.

“The development of the competency and resource base within the project management sector will not not only be vital for the successful and efficient rebuild of Christchurch, but assist with driving the industry and infastructure growth within New Zealand in general,” says Stephen Mansfield CEO of Quest Serviced Apartments – New Zealand.

Mike Thompson, Executive Officer of PMI New Zealand, is pleased Quest’s reconfirmed its commitment to PMINZ, including Quest’s sponsorship of the 2012 PMI Volunteer of the Year.

“Our long standing relationship with Quest has not only provided support for our conference and awards, but the recognition of volunteers and ongoing member benefit through a PMINZ member value-for-money fixed rate package. The partnership not only helps the organisation advocate for and promote the profession but helps our members on a practical and ongoing basis,” Thompson says.

“The practical relationship between Quest and the project management sector makes perfect sense. Project managers, due to the nature of their roles, tend to require accommodation in many locations around the country, and given that Quest Serviced Apartments are ideal for self-catering it supports the extended stay requirements typically associated with project management.”

Quest has more than 34 serviced apartment operations through out New Zealand and Fiji, with a further 120 operations throughout Australia.
