Managing Director of Crackerjacks believes that the website enhancement is the key to their growth in New Zealand.

businesses and recruiter’s complete control and visibility in the same package”, he says.
Wai believes the website design will provide organisations with the complete management and responsibility over their
jobs. “They can search and invite candidates to apply without publicly posting a job” he says. “They have the freedom to
choose someone who they think has the expertise for their role”.
The design focuses on talent depth and platform opportunities aimed to bring businesses, recruiters and contracting
professionals together. “With the opportunity to transfer profile information from LinkedIn, contractors can easily
create a Crackerjacks profile and find the jobs they want”, says Wai.
With Crackerjacks acting as a virtual meeting place for candidates, businesses and recruiters, all participants are
exposed to a fuller view of the contracting market. Wai comments, “We’ve developed a turn-key solution that allows
recruiters to engage with companies”.
Wai launched Crackerjacks Contracting in 2008 after experiencing frustration when searching for contractor talent. “In
any traditional recruitment medium there is either the case of too many employees and too little jobs or vice versa. Our
ambition is to overcome this by using a platform that meets everyone’s expectations and delivers results”, he says.
Wai has high hopes for Crackerjacks to be used as a tool for everyone. “The new site makes it possible for contracting
to become a realistic option for small to medium sized businesses”, he says.
