Seventh heaven: Sovereign’s Customer Relationship Team wins industry top title for seventh year running
Sovereign’s Customer Relationship Team, a team of 30, won the Insurance Industry award for the seventh consecutive year at last Friday’s annual CRM Contact Centre Awards. Held at Sky City Convention Centre the awards were attended by 750 people of all industries from contact centres around New Zealand.
Sovereign’s Chief Operating Officer Gavin Dixon said, “We are exceptionally proud of our Customer Relationship Team - to come away with the top award in our industry for the seventh year in a row shows the dedication and focus of everyone involved. The team really demonstrates what Sovereign is about, consistently delivering first class customer service.”
The judging criteria included responsiveness, anticipating the needs of customers, getting it right first time, sales knowledge, awareness, and valuing the customer. In order to win, Sovereign’s team had to demonstrate consistent performance and high standards, across all criteria.
As well as the industry award, Sovereign’s Adviser Relationship team (ART) were finalists in the Help Desk Category; Kurt Kelsall (a member of ART) was one of only nine to be awarded the accolade of “Outstanding NZ Customer Service Representative” and Lyn Salele'a was finalist for the Contact Centre Manager of the Year Award for centres with over 50 seats.
