Gareth Morgan Investments expands its Investment Strategy Team
Gareth Morgan Investments (GMI) has announced the appointment of Dr Diana Gordon to the new role of Fixed Income Strategist. Diana is a global credit expert with extensive experience in managing fixed income funds. She will join the GMI team on Tuesday 18 September.
“Recruiting someone of Diana’s calibre reinforces our focus on continuing to deliver the best risk managed returns for our clients,” says Susan Easton, Team Leader Investment Strategy at GMI.
“We are proud of our track record. In very difficult market conditions over the last 3-5 years, we have beaten the benchmark for our clients after fees and tax. Diana’s appointment will help us to continue this track record in an environment where fixed income and credit will be challenging.”
Diana has a strong background; after completing a PhD in chemistry at Cambridge University she embarked on a twenty year investment career, managing global portfolios for investment managers including Saudi International and Goldman Sachs Asset Management in London and New York.
Diana will join Greg Hayton in managing GMI’s fixed income investments while also contributing to wider investment strategy.
