The AdSchool takes top NAB Award
The AdSchool students from Media Design School won both the overall student prize and the topical prize at the 2012 Newspaper of the Year Awards.
Andrew Young and Jonathan James’s campaign for The Flight Centre - “The Northern Hemisphere’s looking pretty good at this time of year” - was the overall winner, as well as the winner in the winter break category.
Kat Tadaki and Jamie Wall won the topical ad category for their ad for Countdown -“There’s never been a better time to be a teacher’s pet” - which referenced the recent furore over the Education Minister’s decision to increase in the number of pupils per class.
