BNZ is ‘Best Small Business’ Bank for Second Year Running
BNZ has been awarded the prestigious CANSTAR CANNEX Award for best small business bank for the second year running. The award comes as recognition of the bank’s industry leading small business team, open seven days a week.
BNZ director of retail Andy Symons says the win is a direct result of the hard work the team has put in and proves the dedication of BNZ to providing small business owners with banking services that cater to their unique needs.
“For BNZ to take out the award in consecutive years shows that the commitment of the team is second to none. We know that providing small business owners with banking services that suit them, at a time that suits them, is crucial to their operation. They are the foundation of the New Zealand economy and supporting them supports a higher achieving New Zealand,” says Symons.
BNZ created the small business team after discovering a majority of their customers needed a banking provider that was able to deliver a service that offered easy accessibility.
Small business specialists are also available in BNZ stores, with the highest number of small business managers per branch in the industry. The bank also utilises video technology to ensure that no matter where they are in the country, small businesses have access to a small business banker.
BNZ has also created a number of bespoke products that help small business needs. These include the award-winning offsetting product TotalMoney which has saved Kiwis more than $110m over the past five year and MyMoney, which removes cash-handling and transaction fees.
BNZ also hosts Connect Events, the largest series of networking events in the country. Small business owners can get together at one of 110 BNZ stores throughout the country to share information as well as tips and tricks of their various trades.
