Acronis Appoints General Manager to Drive Next Phase Growth
Sydney, 27 August 2012 – Acronis, a leading provider of easy-to-use disaster recovery and data protection solutions for physical, virtual and cloud environments, today announced the appointment of Andy Purvis as General Manager for Australia and New Zealand. He will be responsible for building the Acronis presence in ANZ, overseeing the go-to-market strategy, as well as driving business growth.
Purvis is an entrepreneurial leader with over 25 years’ experience in leadership, general and executive management positions. He has a wealth of practical experience that includes start-ups, private to public, as well as established publicly listed corporations across Europe the US and latterly Asia-Pacific.
Before joining Acronis, Purvis served for a number of years as an Executive Director at Dell developing their Enterprise Solutions & Services offerings in the APAC region. Prior to Dell he held the office of COO for the renowned Australian IT services and Telecommunications Infrastructure specialist Brennan IT.
