General Manager Paul Donaghy commented: “Our Pinot Noir continues to achieve massive success on the domestic and
international stage, testament to our very talented Winemaker Malcolm Rees-Francis and vineyard teams; it reaffirms
Rockburn is at the forefront of Central Otago producers.”
Winemaker; Malcolm Rees-Francis commented: “It is a great honour and pleasure to bring the Mike Wolter Memorial Trophy
back home. While at Rockburn it will look out across to the Central Otago Wine Company that Mike co-founded, and each
stands as tribute to vision and dedication.”
Rockburn’s Pinot Noir is a pure expression of Central Otago derived from the estate vineyard sites at Gibbston and
Parkburn and the 2010 vintage contributes to a long and proud tradition of success.
Over the last decade, Rockburn Wines have consistently won gold medals and trophies for their Pinot Noirs.
