Kordia Adds Beca And Burger King to String of New Business Wins
Kordia has confirmed deals to provide voice services to engineering consultancy Beca’s 11 sites across Australasia, as well as voice and WAN services to Burger King’s nationwide network including its retail outlets, head office and distribution centre.
The contracts are the latest in a string of new wins for the business telco, following recent signings with McConnell Dowell, Bell Tea, Dominion Breweries, Tegel, the Child Cancer Foundation, Cambridge Clothing, Stevenson, Miraka, and Konica Minolta.
Drew Gilpin, General Manager of Sales & Marketing at Kordia, says the deals are further validation of Kordia’s capability as a credible third player in the business telecommunications sector.
“For too long, New Zealand businesses have been settling for average or simply ordinary service from our competitors. Companies like Beca and Burger King know that we can provide a level of customer care which is unmatched in the industry, and it’s exactly why they have come to us from their incumbent providers.”
Beca CIO Robin Johansen says deciding on Kordia was an easy decision from an IT perspective. “Kordia’s offering provides us with reduced operating costs, enhanced resilience, and very importantly for us, it was a Microsoft-certified solution.”
“We’ve just deployed the new voice services to our Tauranga site, which has gone very well, and we’re looking forward to the improved agility and speed at which we will be able to set up telephony for our project offices, once everything is fully in place,” says Johansen.
A two year contract with Beca has already been confirmed, with the future possibility of expanding the voice services to the company’s six additional Asian sites, while Burger King’s nationwide sites will be fully connected with Kordia’s voice and WAN network in the coming year.
