MBIE Implementation of the Adventure Activities Regulations Update
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment has provided a document for operators in response to requests from the adventure activities and outdoor education sector for clarification of the safety audit requirements under the new Regulations.
The document, 'When do operators need to pass safety audits?', includes the detailed implications for operators depending on their individual situations.
The Ministry is encouraging operators to initiate safety audits well ahead of time to ensure legal deadlines are met.
