Deloitte tax partner wins prestigious award
Deloitte New Zealand’s Teresa Farac recognised as leading advisor in tax law at the Legal Media Group Australasia Women in Business Law Awards
Deloitte New Zealand Tax Partner Teresa Farac has won the leading advisor in tax law award at the Euromoney Legal Media Group Australasia Women in Business Law Awards. This win comes on the back of having won the Asian award in this category in December 2011.
Another Deloitte Tax Partner, Diana Maitland, was also a finalist at these prestigious awards.
Managing Tax Partner Ross Milne says that Teresa’s success is a fantastic achievement, particularly given the scope of the awards put her up against leading tax advisors from across Australasia.
“Having two finalists in the category proves the strength of Deloitte’s tax team and is recognition of the excellent work that all our partners and staff put in on a daily basis,” Mr Milne adds.
The awards have been held in other regions for a number of years and have come to Australasia for the first time. They celebrate the progress in business law gender diversity, innovation, mentoring and talent management. The awards are an opportunity to highlight the achievements of leading women lawyers across Australasia.
