Honda Challenges Kiwis to Pick the Date
Honda New Zealand wants kiwis to ‘pick the date’ they reach the milestone of 500,000 native trees planted across the country.
The TreeFund counter currently stands at 497,952.
Kiwis who correctly guess the date the TreeFund counter will click over to 500,000 will go in the draw to win a $3,000 Mitre10 Garden Makeover Spending Spree. Entries can be made online at Honda’s Facebook page: www.facebook.com/HondaNZ
All entries received will also go in the draw to win a $50 Mitre10 Gift Card spot prize. Entries for the competition will close at 5pm on Wednesday 22 August.
“Reaching 500,000 trees will be a huge milestone for Honda. We’re very proud of our commitment to helping to restore New Zealand’s bio-diversity. Honda has been funding tree plantings nationally since 2004.
“We developed TreeFund to encourage local bio-diversity and as an opportunity for customers to get involved in the protection and restoration of native tree populations in their own local community. For every new car a Honda agent sells, 13 native trees are planted locally,” says Graeme Meyer, Head of Marketing - Honda New Zealand. “We look forward to the next 500,000.”
