Hawaiian Airlines Announces Hot Introductory Fares For Auckland – Hawaii Flights From March 2013
AUCKLAND, NEW ZEALAND - Hawaiian Airlines today released a range of sizzling introductory fares for its new flights from
Auckland to Honolulu, commencing three times weekly from 14 March, 2013, subject to Government approval.
Introductory roundtrip fares to Honolulu start from just NZ $1075 for Economy Class and NZ $3316 for Business Class.
For travel to the neighbour islands of Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island, Economy Class return fares from Auckland start at
NZ $1081, while Business Class is just NZ $3322.
Hawaiian also is offering introductory rates to the US mainland, enabling New Zealanders to combine their Hawaii escape
with a visit to a choice of 11 cities, including Los Angeles, Las Vegas and New York.
Return fares start at NZ $1694 for Economy Class and NZ $4235 for Business Class flights from Auckland to 10 mainland
cities - Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, San Jose, Oakland, San Diego and Phoenix.
Introductory fares also are available from Auckland to New York City from NZ $1894 in Economy Class and NZ $4535 in
Business Class.
The introductory fares are available for sale from today until 31 August, for travel commenced between 16 March and 30
June, 2013, with some peak period exclusions. Seats are limited at these prices and some conditions apply.

other airline knows or serves Hawaii better than Hawaiian, with some 170 flights each day between the islands,” Mr

“Our introductory fares are designed not only to launch Hawaiian Airlines into the New Zealand market, but to build
awareness of the destination and to reinforce that it is affordable, accessible and ready to greet New Zealanders

Hawaiian Airlines will operate its Auckland-Honolulu flights with wide-body twin-aisle Boeing 767-300ER aircraft,
seating 264 passengers in a two-class cabin, with 18 in Business Class and 246 in Economy Class.
Flight HA 446 will depart Auckland at 11:55 p.m. every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, cross the international dateline
and arrive in Honolulu at 9:45 a.m. the same day.
This departure time will enable passengers from New Zealand to travel by night then arrive into Honolulu mid-morning the
same day, clear US Customs then begin enjoying their Hawaii holiday by early afternoon, either on the gateway island of
Oahu, or by continuing on one of Hawaiian’s frequent flights to the neighbour islands.
The return flight to New Zealand, HA 445, will depart Honolulu at 1:45 p.m. every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, cross
the international dateline and land in Auckland at 9:55 p.m. the following day.
Again, this timing is designed with customer convenience in mind, enabling travellers to maximise their holiday in
Hawaii, then check out of their hotel in comfortable time to take Hawaiian’s early-afternoon flight to Auckland.
Hawaiian’s fares for its nonstop flights between Auckland and Honolulu include meals, drinks, main screen video
entertainment, blankets and a generous checked luggage allowance of two items, each weighing up to 32 kilograms.
Additional entertainment is available through portable dig-E-player units, which can be rented on board. These contain a
range of late-release movies, television programmes and audio channels.
