Domino's Unveils New Logo
Australasia's largest pizza delivery company Domino's has today launched a new 'tile' logo and dropped the word pizza from the design in its latest move to showcase the company's enticing new image.
Domino's CEO Don Meij says the new logo is cleaner, stronger and more modern than the traditional diamond design.
"Domino's is one of the world's most recognised pizza companies and we are very proud of our heritage," Mr Meij says.
"However, our business, particularly here in New Zealand, has evolved significantly over the years from new store designs to better quality ingredients and greater menu choices.
"It was time to improve the one thing that signifies our brand - by creating a new clean, crisp and strong brand logo that reflects our new directions.
"We want to signal outside that something has changed inside, we want people to think differently about Domino's and believe this new logo design is the right step," says Meij.
The new logo design incorporates Domino's iconic blue and red colours into a single feature tile.
New Zealand customers will be among the first in the world to see the logo when it is rolled out in new store developments across the country.
"Over the next few weeks we will be incorporating the new logo into all advertising, marketing material and digital platforms," says Meij.
Domino's Pizza employs more than 21,000 team members across Australia, New Zealand, France, Belgium and The Netherlands and makes more than 60 million pizzas a year.
