UK’S Tribal Group Wins Over NZ$58 Million in ANZ Contracts
Tribal Group, a London-headquartered leading provider of technology products and services to the education, training and learning markets, has won more than NZ$58 million worth of business in New Zealand and Australia in the past year.
The deals were announced today at the ICT sector day of the UK’s British Business Embassy, running alongside the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. During the six weeks of the Games, the British Business Embassy will host 18 global business summits at Lancaster House, attended by over 3,000 Government Ministers, business leaders and policy-makers from the UK and around the world.
Trade and Investment Minister Lord Green said:
“I warmly congratulate Tribal Group on its new contracts, which are generating further growth for the company here in the UK. Such achievements are excellent reflections of the skills and innovation of the UK’s technology sector.
"With the world's spotlight on the UK this summer, we are working hard through the British Business Embassy programme to help technology companies capitalise on the unique opportunity we have in 2012 to secure new trade and investment."
In New Zealand, Tribal won an NZ$8 million contract with Tertiary Accord New Zealand (TANZ), a group of seven polytechnics in New Zealand. This contract further strengthened Tribal’ s growing position in the New Zealand market following a contract win with Manukau Institute of Technology (MIT) in Auckland who in April 2011 signed a five year contract with Tribal.
