Big Appointments And Big Plans For Sacred Hill Vineyards
Four new senior roles created
Sacred Hill Vineyards is delighted to announce the appointment of four senior executives to its recently launched sales and distribution company Sacred Hill Wine Company Limited.
Glenn Cunningham has been appointed global sales and marketing director and is responsible for driving the successful family wine company’s overall sales and distribution domestically and internationally. Glenn joins Sacred Hill Vineyards from Constellation, where he was export market development director. He previously founded Fresh Fruit Company of New Zealand Ltd (FreshCo) and has an extensive career in sales and marketing for New Zealand food and wine exports.
Murray Burgess will lead the company’s sales team as national sales manager. Murray joins Sacred Hill Wine Company Limited with a wealth of experience in the FMCG sector, having worked with leading companies and major brands. His most recent role was as national key account manager for Coca Cola, working with Progressive Enterprises. He also spent eight years in the UK and Australia, working with large brands including Marks & Spencer and Coca Cola Amatil.
Emiliano Parini has been appointed national key accounts manager and has had an extensive career in the FMCG sector and comes from Villa Maria Estate, where he was the national key account manager working with Progressive Enterprises and Foodstuffs South Island. He has also worked with Mars New Zealand, Penguin Wholesalers and Europacific Foods.
Dale Wright has been appointed fine wine & on premise director. He comes to Sacred Hill from his previous role as national on premise manager for Negociants New Zealand. Prior to this he held sales roles at James Gilmour & Co Ltd and Glengarry Hancocks.
Sacred Hill Vineyard’s managing director David Mason said the company is excited to welcome the four new senior members to the Sacred Hill family.
“These roles are pivotal to the ongoing success and growth of our business and we look forward to further growing our domestic market and exploring international growth opportunities,” he said.
The appointments are the first of a number of new appointments that will be made at Sacred Hill Wine Company Limited in the coming months.
On July 1st, Sacred Hill Vineyards launched Sacred Hill Wine Company Limited to drive sales and distribution of its highly-regarded wine portfolio into channels within New Zealand and abroad.
The launch of Sacred Hill Wine Company Limited will create approximately a dozen new jobs domestically and in the medium term will see further expansion of Sacred Hill’s portfolio into international markets such as Australia and the United States of America.
