Kawarau Village Apartments ‘officially’ available from this weekend
The highly anticipated launch of the newly-released Kawarau Village Apartments takes place this weekend with the first release of properties officially available for purchase.
From this Saturday (July 14), interested buyers can snap up the first 14 unique luxury apartments at one of Queenstown’s most stunning locations.
The apartments are located on a north-facing, sheltered, lakeside site next to the five-star Hilton Queenstown Hotel and the Kawarau Hotel, managed by Hilton.
Since the release of apartments was announced ten days ago, enquiry level has been “fantastic”, according to Ray White Queenstown licensee salesperson Cameron Reed.
“The phone was ringing from the moment the announcement was made,” he said.
“It’s been a very positive and fantastic start to this release of property on the market, with a broad range of interest and a constant stream of enquiry from local buyers to ‘out-of-towners’ nationally and internationally.
“These superb, brand-new apartments, which are being released to the market for the first time, have also sparked good interest from the investment market.”
Mr Reed said there had been “a lot of inspections” in the past ten days with physical registrations occurring and people putting names against specific apartments.
“Interest has already been expressed in eight of the 14 apartments in the first release,” he said.
“From July 14 we will be giving out purchase options and sale and purchase agreements, and from there people can decide if they’d like to carry through with the sale.
“It’s a very simple process and there’s no obligation from the purchaser, but from July 14 its ‘open slather’ on who gets in first. All the indications are that the apartments are going to be snapped up really quickly so I’d advise people to not take their time.
“Once the first 14 have sold, the next stage to be released will be the Reserve Central collection.”
Apartments range in size providing up to six bedrooms, and nearly all feature stunning views of the clear waters of Lake Wakatipu, towards the slopes of Coronet Peak, or the towering Remarkables mountain range.
Ray White Queenstown has a sales office at Kawarau Village with a sales register for interested buyers. On July 14 there will be display apartments available for people to view.
“We’re encouraging everybody to come and have a look between 10am and 4pm,” said Mr Reed.

Kawarau Village has everything anyone could need including restaurants, bars and café/deli, shops and a day spa.
It is within walking distance of Remarkables Park shopping centre, has the lake, walking and biking tracks on its doorstep, is a short drive to two world-class golf courses at Jacks Point and Queenstown Golf Course at Kelvin Heights, and has easy access by car, bus or water taxi into central Queenstown.
The world-class Remarkables and Coronet Peak ski areas are less than half an hour’s drive away, as are numerous award-winning wineries, and it is only five minutes from Queenstown Airport.
