SBS Bank announces new Timaru Branch Manager
SBS Bank is pleased to announce Grant Husband has been appointed as its Timaru Branch Manager.
Mr Husband, who has over 25 years experience working in the finance and banking sectors, said he was looking forward to making a difference in the South Canterbury region.
“The chance to join SBS Bank was an opportunity I didn’t want to miss. I’m excited to be part of a team in Timaru who are really customer focused and are committed to exceeding their customers’ expectations.
“My ongoing objective is to ensure our Timaru team adds value to every one of our customer interactions. Whether that’s by recommending products or services that can assist our customers with their day to day banking requirements, or at the very least making sure our customers walk out of the branch with a smile.”
Mr Husband said the mutual structure of SBS Bank and its commitment to ensuring local regions prospered, had attracted him to the organisation.
“SBS Bank’s ability to support the community at a grass roots level really does set them apart from other banks. I'm excited to have a real hands-on role in this regard and I'm looking forward to meeting community groups who are also our customers.”
SBS Bank Canterbury Area Manager Matthew Mark said Mr Husband’s extensive experience coupled with his relaxed demeanour would be a valuable asset to the business.
“Grant will bring a fresh, dynamic and focused approach to the role. He’s very well known in the region and his involvement in many of Timaru’s key community groups really struck a chord with SBS Bank, as we’re an organisation who also has a real passion for helping the Timaru community.”
