UnisonFibre Connecting Business and Excellence

27 June 2012 – Hastings City Business Association is delighted to announce UnisonFibre as the naming sponsor for the Hastings City Business Awards 2012.

Voting is currently underway, with winners and The Supreme Award winner set to be announced at the UnisonFibre Hastings City Business Awards night on Friday 20 July at the Hastings Opera House.

The Awards recognise excellence across eight categories, and provide an opportunity for the city to celebrate the high calibre of businesses in Hastings.

Unison Group Chief Executive Officer Ken Sutherland saw a great synergy between the Awards and UnisonFibre.

“UnisonFibre is proud to be the naming sponsor of the Hastings City Business Awards which celebrates local businesses leading the region into the future.

“The Hastings City Business Awards recognise businesses that strive to deliver excellence to their customer. This is a mission that UnisonFibre shares and we see the Awards as a great opportunity to celebrate the success of those companies that have succeeded in placing the customer at the core of their business focus.”

Hastings City Business Association General Manager Sharon Pearce said they were thrilled to partner with UnisonFibre, and saw the benefits of the relationship extending beyond the support for the annual Awards.

“UnisonFibre’s superior fibre network is set to propel business to a new level with massive data capacity; allowing for enhanced productivity through video conferencing, cloud computing, Voice Over IP, disaster recovery planning, and more. We hope to see local businesses take up the opportunity to further enhance their efficiency and profitability through this great technology.”
