Realtor.com Announces RE/MAX New Zealand Alliance
New Zealand, Auckland (June 27, 2012) - RE/MAX New Zealand has become the first real estate organisation to advertise New Zealand listings on one of the world’s largest real estate websites, REALTOR.com®
REALTOR.com®, the # 1 homes-for-sale website in the United States, has increased its presence in international markets to attract even more international visitors. Nearly 900,000 consumers from non-U.S. destinations currently visit REALTOR.com® each month, and that number is expected to grow dramatically with the introduction of listings in more and more countries.
“The National Association of REALTORS® is thrilled RE/MAX New Zealand has connected with the REALTOR.com® International Team to aggregate listings onto this new global site” said Janet Branton, National Association of REALTORS®, Senior Vice President, Global Business & Alliances.
“As more and more consumers are looking beyond their immediate borders, the Realtor.com® International website brings buyers and sellers together from across the globe. Listings from RE/MAX New Zealand mark the site’s first entry into Oceania, showcasing the unique landscapes and sheer beauty of this part of the world”.
The recent launch of the International side of REALTOR.com® has quickly developed into more than 17 Countries and translates into 11 languages. RE/MAX New Zealand Regional Director Chris Chapman says the website provides even greater global exposure for RE/MAX clients in New Zealand wanting to market their property for sale to the widest possible audience. “All agencies advertise listings locally, but only RE/MAX Sales Associates can offer the power of truly global marketing for their clients”.
The REALTOR.Com partnership follows the highly successful launch in November of the international RE/MAX website Global.Remax.Com. The website already features RE/MAX listings from 70 Countries and generated over 18 Million page views in its first six months. Statistics show that China represents the largest origin of visitors to the site, confirming that the Asian powerhouse continues to be a huge source of property investment capital with buyers searching the globe for opportunities.
