NZ winery Invivo partners with street artists on both sides of the world
Invivo, a premium New Zealand winery is introducing a range of limited edition graffiti wine boxes produced by Kiwi and British street artists. The New Zealand bespoke designs have been created by artists from prominent New Zealand art collective, and two times world street art champions, TMD Crew (The Most Dedicated).
Pioneering a new approach to wine, Invivo is keen to target a younger audience of wine enthusiasts. Invivo’s award-winning Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc will be housed in limited edition wine boxes designed by three artists at the forefront of the global graffiti scene: D.Sykes, Saves and Lady Diva.
Following the series of designs by TMD Crew, a British range will be produced this English summer by DWS (Da Wild Stallions), an East London-based group. The boxes were painted at a live art event hosted by Invivo Wines at London’s award winning Drake and Morgan’s “Refinery Bar” on June 12.
Invivo was set up by two friends in 2007, who left their full-time jobs to follow their passion for winemaking in an innovative and contemporary way. At the heart of Invivo is the appreciation and support of the creative industries, as their collaboration with TMD exhibits. Since launching in 2008, Invivo has partnered Creative New Zealand, a range of artists, galleries and musicians as well as iconic New Zealand fashion designers Zambesi.
The limited edition boxes will be on display at Invivo outlets in UK, New Zealand, Japan and Canada.
