Naturally Sweetened Juice Drink Range a New Zealand First!
New Zealand's largest juice company Frucor has today announced the launch of new Just Juice with 50% less sugar, the first naturally sweetened, low sugar fruit juice drink range in New Zealand.
In a first for the New Zealand market, new Just Juice with 50% less sugar answers consumer demand for a lower sugar juice without the compromise of the delicious Just Juice taste Kiwi's know and love. Available in three market leading flavours (1) - Truly Tropical, Juicy Orange and Cheeky Apple, new Just Juice with 50% less sugar contains 50 per cent less fruit sugar than regular Just Juice.
Just Juice with 50% less sugar follows international trends, where in the European market, 25 per cent of new product development in juices and juice drinks are either reduced sugar or low calorie (2). Just Juice with 50% less sugar is sweetened with natural Stevia - a plant extract, which allows consumers to enjoy 100 per cent taste with zero compromise. Stevia has been used for centuries by South Americans as a favoured natural sweetener, and now we've harnessed this natural sweetening ability in Just Juice with 50% less sugar.
Just Juice Brand Manager, Brooke Bayliss-Browne, says with research indicating that consumers have different juice needs throughout the day, Just Juice with 50% less sugar is perfect for every occasion offering consumers who want to enjoy a full juice taste alternative with less sugar.
"The new Just Juice with 50% less sugar range offers the choice of a better for you option in fruit juice drinks. Given the common perception that lower sugar products compromise on taste, we are confident that consumers will be as excited as we are about this new range" says Bayliss-Browne.
The full range of Just Juice with 50% less sugar flavours: Cheeky Apple, Juicy Orange and Truly Tropical, are available in both 1 litre and 2.4 litre packs from supermarkets nationwide. RRP: 2.4L $6.99
