More pies on way after
unprecedented demand for KFC Pie
KFC says
more pies are on the way after unprecedented demand for its
new KFC Pie caused stocks to run low around the country.
The company said sales of the KFC Pie, which launched last Tuesday, had well exceeded forecast with many stores now either out of stock or running low.
KFC General Manager Brent Kitto said the company had expected the pie to be popular but demand had been even greater than expected. “Production is currently being ramped up and the pie should be back in all stores by the end of the week,” he said.
Developed in New Zealand for Kiwi taste buds and retailing at $4.50, the KFC Pie is available at all KFC stores nationwide* for a limited time.
