BP Drops Petrol Prices for Second Time This Week

BP has dropped the price of petrol and diesel today by 3 cents per litre, the second time the company has dropped their prices this week. This follows a 4 cent per litre drop by BP earlier in the week.

Prices at most BP-owned service stations are:

91 Unleaded $ 208.9 cents per litre
95 Unleaded $ 216.9 cents per litre
Diesel $ 146.9 cents per litre

BP Managing Director Matt Elliott announced the news. “We’re pleased to be dropping prices again this morning.”

“We’ve been monitoring our prices closely. International product prices have continued to fall this week and the exchange rate has remained reasonably stable. We’re pleased to be able to quickly pass on these benefits to our customers. This is great news and we’re glad it comes in time for the weekend.”
