NZer announced World Champion at International awards

MEDIA RELEASE

New Zealander announced World Champion at International awards

Cantabrian Alison Aitken is New Zealand’s latest world champion following the announcement of the Harcourts International Awards at Jupiters Casino last week.

Competing against over 5000 other sales consultants from 10 countries Alison took out the top spot.

Alison, from Harcourts Grenadier Christchurch City has been named top sales consultant for the group in Canterbury thirteen times and now adds the international title to her CV. From a lady that has lost her office in Madras Street in February’s earthquake, Alison has also found time to assist others in need.

After such a big year and following the announcement it’s not surprising she has taken the opportunity to take a little extra time to recharge and says she is in shock at the win.

New Zealand’s Harcourts Group CEO Hayden Duncan was present at the ceremony and says this is quite an outstanding achievement in an ordinary year let alone on top of the challenges the team have faced in Canterbury this last year, quite breath-taking.

“For a company founded 124 years ago in Wellington and still New Zealand owned it is special that the top award from the now global group of Harcourts goes to a New Zealander - we truly do have the best people in the world.”

New Zealand really scooped the prizes this year with seven out of the top ten sales consultants being from New Zealand and three from Christchurch.
