Best Design Awards 2012 - Best Effect Award Announcement
In the design industry we know that, at its best, design delivers a great return on investment. Our challenge is convincing the business community of this.
The new Best Effect Award celebrates design work with the best return on investment. It will be judged not by designers but by business, based on business metrics.
Design work from any of the Best categories, graphic, spatial, product or interactive is eligible for the award, which can be entered by the client organisation or by the client in conjunction with a design practice.
As a showcase for effective design we believe the award will add lustre to the Best programme and build a bridge to the client side of the design industry.
Entrants will be asked to demonstrate how the results of a particular design project or programme of design work has had a positive effect on an important organisation success measure. The client organisation will need to submit details of that measure which will be treated in strictest confidence.
