2degrees adds Samsung Galaxy S III to high-end line up
2degrees is excited to be one of the first mobile companies in the world to bring the Samsung Galaxy S III to consumers on Thursday 31 May. With the handset predicted to be in short supply on the back of nine million pre orders worldwide, customers are urged to get in early.
The Galaxy S III is priced at $1,049 (RRP), or free on a 2degrees Business $89 Plan or Pay Monthly $89 Plan, both with a 24-month term.
2degrees CEO, Eric Hertz, says the Samsung Galaxy S III is a welcome addition to 2degrees’ extensive range of Android Smartphones.
“We are delighted to be ranging 2012's most eagerly-awaited Android Smartphone, so we are launching with deals that offer exceptional value. With the Samsung Galaxy S III, we take another step forward in the mission to deliver top-quality devices. As well as getting a fantastic Smartphone, our customers will get great network value, data rich plans and an excellent 3G data experience,” says Mr Hertz.
Outsmarting other Smartphones, the Galaxy S III adapts to its user, detecting voice, face and motion. With a large 4.8” HD display for vivid viewing, an 8-megapixel camera and video, a 1.4GHz quad-core processor for fast processing and easy sharing – Samsung’s top-of-the-line handset sets a new benchmark for Smartphones.
“As an innovative player, 2degrees is always looking at how to make mobile technology more relevant for New Zealanders, and the Samsung Galaxy S III is ideal for both our Pay Monthly and Business customers. But limited global stock means customers will need to act fast to ensure they don’t miss out,” says Mr Hertz.
Exclusive to 2degrees, the Galaxy S III also supports mobile payments wherever Snapper cards are accepted through Touch2Pay with Snapper Mobile. Touch2Pay – currently available in Wellington – is the first fully commercial deployment of Near Field Communication (NFC) technology in New Zealand, highlighting 2degrees’ commitment to innovation.
