Dunedin Hosts Bed & Breakfast Association Conference
Bed and breakfast operators from around New Zealand will be looking to increase their knowledge of Dunedin’s tourism attractions when they meet in the city next month.
The Bed & Breakfast Association NEW ZEALAND is holding its annual conference in Dunedin, 7-9 June, the first time the association has held a conference in this city.
With its fascinating history, beautiful architecture and warm hospitality, the association board members decided Dunedin was a great place in the South Island to meet, be educated, entertained and updated on tourism’s changing dynamics as well as sampling some of the attractions, CEO Trevor Knight says.
“Our annual conference draws members from all over New Zealand who enjoy a great opportunity to mix with other members, as well as taking the opportunity to extend their stay and learn about Otago’s treasures. These we can share with our overseas guests, who are eager to learn from knowledgeable hosts the most interesting places to visit.”
The conference is open to non-members, who may operate a bed and breakfast property or are thinking of entering this tourism accommodation sector.
