A2 Corporation Limited Enters Nutritional Powders Supply Agreement

A2 Corporation Limited (A2C) has announced a strategic agreement with Synlait Milk Limited for the manufacture of a2TM brand nutritional powders (including milk powders and infant formulas) for A2C.

Under the agreement Synlait Milk will source A2 Milk from accredited Canterbury dairy farms and manufacture a2TM brand nutritional powders at its facility in Rakaia (New Zealand).

With supply now secured, A2C will seek to progress discussions with potential partners to distribute and market a2TM brand nutritional powders.

“This agreement with a highly reputable supplier of nutritional powders is a key step in our strategic plan to launch a2TM brand infant formula products into high growth Asian markets, in particular China”, says A2C Managing Director Geoffrey Babidge.

It is estimated that the retail market for infant formula in China and South East Asia is USD6.0 billion and USD3.0 billion respectively. Furthermore the market in China is forecasted to grow at an average rate of 12 percent over the next decade.
