Paper Plus stores across Christchurch call for creative designs
Paper Plus stores across Christchurch have challenged people young and old to get creative by putting pen to paper and designing what they want Christchurch Square to look like in the future.
Eight Paper Plus stores throughout the city have launched the competition which encourages people to have a positive outlook for the future of the earthquake-stricken city and design a new Christchurch Square, however creative and inspired that may be.
Paper Plus The Palms assistant manager, Kirsty Hayward, who came up with the concept, says that while the competition is open for anyone of any age, it’s a fantastic activity to occupy the younger generation over the school holidays, as well as inspiring them about the exciting future of Christchurch.
“It’s great that Paper Plus stores from across the city can have a hand in getting children looking towards Christchurch’s future and supporting them to creatively express this.”
Entries will be judged solely on their creativity and a total of 16 winners – two winners from each store – will walk away with a fully-loaded Faber Castell prize-pack, including colouring-in pencils, highlighters and canvases.
Entries close on 22nd April, so make sure you head in to your local Paper Plus store today to get an entry from and get designing! The winning entries will be announced on 24th April.
Participating stores are The Palms, Hornby, South City, Merivale, Barrington, Bush Inn, Northlands and New Brighton.
