BurgerFuel Opens the April Bun in Cuba
Not unlike the Kiwi band Dragon from the 70s, BurgerFuel is also heading to the “April Sun in Cuba” – Cuba Street in Wellington, that is. Yes, burger lovers you know it, on April 2nd, BurgerFuel opened another store in the country’s capital on Cuba St.
Cuba Street has kept a steady rep as being the heart and soul of Wellington. Located between Courtenay Place and Lambton Quay, Cuba Street is the perfect location to capture the trendy and slightly off-beat burger connoisseurs. Paul Longley, franchisee for the new BurgerFuel Cuba Street and the well established Lower Hutt store, has watched Cuba Street flourish into a place which is recognised for its café culture, delicious eateries, creative ability, style and lively atmosphere. Paul says “customer hype and anticipation around the opening has been huge. This alone has given us the reassurance that the Cuba St culture will be the perfect fit for the BurgerFuel brand”.
The new Cuba St store is now open at 191 Cuba St, Wellington CBD. Craig Notman, BurgerFuel General Manager said “While we’ve been opening stores all around the world, New Zealand is still our home and we’re pleased to announce that BurgerFuel will be opening more new stores here as well this year”.
BurgerFuel has recently announced new territory signings for Libya, Qatar and Egypt to add to the existing stores already open in Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Iraq. BurgerFuel Worldwide Ltd (BFW) is a NZAX listed company. Its shares are currently trading at 85 cents.
