New restaurant opens in downtown Auckland

Botswana Butchery, offering fun dining in a premium atmosphere, is to open in Auckland’s Ferry Building this Thursday [March 22].

The interior of the historic Ferry Building site has been designed by Charlotte Spary to complement the architecture and magnificent harbourside location of the Quay Street building, while Chef Stuart Rogan has created menus that feature something for everyone.

Botswana Butchery is well known in Central Otago with restaurants in Queenstown and Wanaka and is highly regarded for providing sumptuous meals and superb service in opulent surroundings.

“We see Botswana Butchery Auckland as bringing together the wonderful produce, wine and location elements of Auckland with the best of what we have on offer in Central Otago,” says Director Russell Gray.

“Botswana Butchery is about fun dining. Our restaurants produce fabulously flavoursome and succulent meals from the best local produce.

“We offer lunch, dinner and bar menus in gorgeous surroundings. This ethos is naturally key to Botswana Auckland which is plush and wonderfully distinctive, but also welcoming and fun,” he said.

Botswana Butchery Auckland opens this Thursday welcoming people for lunch, dinner, after work and late evening drinks.

The restaurant seats approximately 120 guests inside and up to 40 on the terrace.
