Hyundai NZ, the Best ‘Little’ Distributor in Asia Pacific

MEDIA RELEASE

13th March 2012

Hyundai NZ, the Best ‘Little’ Distributor in Asia Pacific.

Hyundai Motor Company has announced their top performing distributors for 2011, and Hyundai Motors New Zealand has trumped the competition in Asia Pacific by winning this prestigious award.

This is the first time Hyundai New Zealand, a 100% locally owned and operated company has won the award outright, having shared the award with the Philippines in 2006. Other finalists for the 2011 award included much larger markets such as China, Japan, Vietnam and Laos who have performed strongly in their respective markets.

Andy Sinclair, National Sales Manager of Hyundai New Zealand has said it is ‘a proud moment for us all’.

This reward reflects excellence in sales volume growth, developing the dealer network, extensive marketing efforts, after sales service, delivering a great customer experience and sharing Hyundai’s global vision. This is the second global award for Hyundai New Zealand for the year after winning the Global Marketing Award for the Elantra Campaign.

Hyundai Motors currently holds second position in the New Zealand passenger car market year to date.

Hyundai Motors NZ attributes their on-going success to having a talented, committed and passionate team who all contribute to our great results, and a keen focus on delivering a great customer experience.
