New Directors Elected to Wellington Employers Chamber Board

Richard Stone, President of the Wellington Employers’ Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce the confirmation of its new Board following an election at its AGM this evening.

The new Board is :

Peter Cullen, Cullen Law (Vice President)
Simon Arnold, Arnold.co.nz
Jeremy Baker, Learning State
Glenys Coughlan, Positively Wellington Venues
John Dow, Agenda Limited
Charles Finny, Saunders Unsworth
Nigel Kirkpatrick, Grow Wellington
Steve Maharey, Massey University
John Milford, Kirkcaldies and Stains
John Swan, Swan Legal
Pat Walsh, Victoria University

“I would like to congratulate the successful candidates, all of whom are prominent and influential in their fields,” said Mr Stone.

“We are very fortunate to have such well qualified people from a range of sectors involved. Their experience and skills will be a great addition to the Board.

“The interest in these positions shows that the Wellington Employers’ Chamber, as the voice of Wellington business, is in great shape.

“I would like to thank all candidates for their interest and send my best wishes to the candidates that failed to be elected this time around.

“The Chamber has a very exciting year ahead. The Board will continue to work to provide the best possible services to members and promote policies that reflect Wellington’s bests interests,” Mr Stone concluded.
