Bali from $549 one way
Kiwis can now book a flight non-stop to Bali with Air New Zealand’s launch special of $549 one way from Auckland.
The new seasonal service will operate twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays over the peak demand period of June to October, with the first flight departing on Tuesday 19 June 2012.
The Boeing 767-300 service will depart Auckland at 11.50pm, arriving into Denpasar Airport at 5.20am the following day.
Air New Zealand Chief Executive Rob Fyfe says Bali is a popular destination for Kiwis and the announcement of a non-stop service has already created a high level of interest amongst passengers and travel agents alike.
“While the service is seasonal initially, we’re very keen to see if there’s enough demand to make it year round.
“Our non-stop flight time of nine and a half hours to Denpasar and eight hours back to Auckland is a big improvement on the indirect services offered by competitors that can involve long layovers and a total journey time of anywhere between 14 and 24 hours.”
The Bali service will offer Air New Zealand’s popular ‘Seats to Suit’ fare structure giving passengers the choice of travelling with just a carry on bag through to the full service Works Deluxe fare.
The $549 introductory one way ‘Seat’ fare is available for a limited period only at www.airnewzealand.co.nz.
