Pastoral Dairy Investments to Float
Pastoral Dairy Investments (PDI), a specialist investment fund led by senior New Zealand dairy industry and investment figures, has today launched an initial public share offering, www.headliner.co.nz reported this morning.
PDI will give kiwis the opportunity to invest in a fund that will make debt-free acquisitions of dairy farms, with the aim of benefiting from the strong international demand for dairy commodities and the country’s leadership of the international dairy trade.
The company is to be chaired by Malcolm Bailey who is Chairman of the Dairy Companies Association, a director of Fonterra Cooperative and a member of the Washington-based International Food & Agriculture Trade Policy Council. Full story on www.headliner.co.nz
