International retail trends will be at the forefront of discussion at Westfield’s inaugural Retail Brain Food for Breakfast Seminar in Auckland next month.
Following on from the sell-out series in Australia last year, attendees will hear from four leading international retail experts on a range of topics including worldwide digital and marketing trends, pricing and research.
The keynote speaker, Ruby Anik is Senior Vice President of Brand Marketing for JC Penney, one of America’s largest multi-channel retailers. Anik will address the subject of “revolutionising retail” and share how she successfully re-branded JC Penney to ensure it retained its competitive edge in what has become an ever-evolving and extremely competitive industry.
Westfield New Zealand Director Justin Lynch, says the seminar will be hugely beneficial to both New Zealand retailers, and Australian retailers who have a presence in New Zealand and are looking at growing their brands and retail businesses in what has become a very competitive industry.
“The Australian seminars were hugely popular, and we wanted to give New Zealand retailers the same opportunity to learn from the world’s best and allow them the opportunity to network with other retailers who are facing the same challenges on a day-today basis,” adds Lynch.
“It’s really important, no matter what industry you’re in, to keep up with international trends and we’re confident this seminar will give these retailers the necessary tools required to grow their brands within New Zealand.”
